Suitable for: Mindfulness Teachers and Teachers in Training. If you are not a teacher but you are a mindfulness practitioner with experience of attending silent retreats of at least 5 days you are welcome to apply for a place.

Personal meditation practice is an essential foundation for anyone who works with mindfulness-based interventions and participation in silent teacher-led mindfulness meditation retreats is part of all Good Practice Guidelines, including those being further developed by the Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland (MTAI).
Each day will offer a sustained schedule of formal meditation practice (both Insight and Metta), meetings with the teachers, talks and instructions, all within an underlying environment of silence.
Access: We welcome people with disabilities to our retreat. The venue is fully accessible. Please contact us with your specific needs relating to disability, long-term illness or health condition.
- If you cancel before 1st July the cancellation fee will be €100.
- If you cancel from 1st July – 5th Aug the cancellation fee will be the deposit amount of €300.
- From the 6th August the cancellation fee is the full amount.
Melissa Myozen Blacker, MA, was an MBSR teacher and director of programs at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, from 1993 to 2013. She is a fully transmitted Zen teacher (Roshi), and co-founder, guiding teacher and Abbot of Boundless Way Zen, a multi-lineage Zen community in New England, and has a private practice in contemplative counseling. She is co-editor of The Book of Mu: Essential Teachings on Zen’s Most Famous Koan.
David Dae An Rynick, PCC, MALS, in addition to being a fully transmitted Zen teacher, is the Abbot of Boundless Way Temple and a life and leadership coach. He works with individuals around the US and UK to help them clarify what is truly important so that they can take action to align their lives more fully with their deepest dreams. A former private school headmaster, teacher, and artist, he has led numerous workshops and retreats on topics ranging from meditation to improvisational dance to organizational leadership. He is the author of This Truth Never Fails: A Zen Memoir in Four Seasons.
