Meditation Groups and Sanghas

Coming to the end of an 8-week course, many people express the view that practicing meditation in a group is a lot easier than practicing alone.

Meditating regularly with a “sangha” – a community of meditators – supports us in our own daily practice.

Half-Days of Mindfulness

These half days are suitable for those who would like to be introduced to mindfulness as well as for those who wish to nourish or re-ignite their practice. We offer a half day of mindfulness on the first Saturday of the month at the Mindfulness Centre, 33 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2.

Monday Evening Drop-in Guided Meditation
at The Mindfulness Centre, 33 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, from 6-7pm, payment by donation, all welcome, with or without experience. No need to book.

There are a number of other weekly meditation groups in operation in Dublin and further afield. Some of these are listed below. Most of these meditation groups operate on a drop-in basis and payment is usually by anonymous donation (the practice of “dana” – generosity). Contact details are provided.

The evening comprises of guided practices with some discussion and inquiry. There may be a theme to the evening or it may be left open.
