Information

This half-day workshop warmly invites people of varying sexual orientations* to explore the following through practice, enquiry & discussion:

  • the impact of upbringing and culture on entrenched attitudes around sexuality in Ireland and elsewhere
  • settling the mind, soothing the heart through gentle meditative movement
  • deep-rooted feelings around one's own sexuality and that of others
  • learning to integrate practices of mindful self-compassion, through meditation practice, when turning towards more challenging feeling around one's sexuality & that of others

* Multiple and often complex factors have shaped our attitudes, emotions and behaviours around our own sexuality and that of others. These can have a significant impact both on those of us who are LGBTIQA+ but also our loved ones & family members. As a result, this workshop is open to all.
